Nothing they had me do would work. My phone was just bought in Coverage is good. Read about there service. Price sounded great and they claimed any phone will work with any network. They never send a Sim card even if you order next day service. I'm not sure if they're a real company. All positive reviews I assume are upper levels of their ponzi scheme. After having the service for a few months started to not get calls and dropping calls could not even use the phone.
Support was no help and had to contact Verizon and so my business line was down for more than a week. Paid for day priority shipping. Tracking stated label was created, but they couldn't be bothered to actually mail it. Spent hours with customer service trying to resolve the problem and was hung up on twice so I had to re-explain the problem multiple times.
Ended up cancelling everything entirely. Switch Hassle-Free Keep your phone, number, and coverage. Stay Connected Reliable coverage, available nationwide. Exceptional Support Finally, a reason to love your wireless operator.
Robert R. Jill P. Nicholas C. George A. Red Pocket offers monthly plans at six price points. These plans allow extra data use at sluggish, Kbps speeds for customers that run out of regular data. This plan allows extra data at sluggish speeds for subscribers that use all their regular data. Finally, Red Pocket offers an unlimited plan at the highest price point.
People who use egregious amounts of data may want to choose unlimited plans offered by other carriers. The SIM card came in the standard 3-in-1 style. This was when problems started. After completing the online activation process, I was able to send texts.
Instead, I heard some activation-related messages. I still got the invalid input message. Since I was struggling, I called the customer service line. I connected immediately with a Red Pocket support agent without being put on hold. To get started, I had to share a bit of information to verify my identity. One item I had to share was the last four digits on my SIM card. I thought that was a bit odd and inconvenient. The Red Pocket agent said it sounded like my phone was not actually unlocked.
I insisted that my phone was unlocked. The support agent was not convinced. He confirmed that my service appeared to be activated then tried resetting the service. The reset did not solve my problems. Every few minutes, the agent reiterated that he thought my phone was not unlocked.
After some time, the conversation became confusing. After about 20 minutes, the agent and I agreed that we should end the call so I could try the SIM card in another device.
I did not immediately have data service, so I went ahead and made a test call. I was promoted with the same information about setting my messaging language. After completing the call, my service was fully active. The G6 and G6 Play are common phones. A discussion I found on HowardForums mentioned a method that might help people who encounter the issue I did.
I hope this helps. Using the service During my trial of Red Pocket, speeds were all over the place. I did not identify any obvious throttling. Here are a few screenshots from unsystematic speed tests:.

At the moment, Red Pocket sells day service options through its eBay store that are not available for purchase via the Red Pocket website. Except where noted otherwise, each option was available on any of the Big Four networks and included free shipping. The quantities of texts, minutes, and data indicate monthly allotments. I have experienced it both ways. Several times I have run into various problems trying to activate, however, I have also activated in minutes too. Hi John: I just left Tello and loved them 4.
T-Mobile as you know purchased Sprint. Had no problems with Sprint the minute I connected with T-Mobile low or no signal had to go outside to make a call. Never new Tello used Verizon think maybe this was a error so you may want to check your facts. I would go back to Tello in a heart beat if this was the case.
Thanks Bill. Happening on my Oneplus 6T device. Tried it from other device which had already activated for Verizon Motorola G-6 but no luck. I had the exact same issue activating a line on a Moto G6 Play purchased from Amazon. Support chat was able to do something on their end to get me past the voicemail set-up. I first tested Red Pocket Mobile in and revisited the service in to see if anything had changed. After most of my reviews, I can confidently say whether the service is worth it or not.
The annual plans are the best deal, but I do not recommend that you sign up for one right away. Start with a monthly plan to see if the service is a good fit before you think about one of the day plans. Since Red Pocket Mobile is a prepaid carrier, there are no contracts, credit checks, activation fees or overage fees. The process will be familiar to many people reading this article. My phone would not place calls. I used a Motorola G Power for my latest test.
